I am currently working with Dr. Nitesh Saxena as a Graduate Fellow in the Department of Computer Sciences and a member of research lab SPIES — Security and Privacy In Emerging computing and networking Systems at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
I have academic and professional background in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, and Computer Applications.
I have worked with UAB Department of Medicine, Information Technology team as System Analyst Sr and had the opportunity to work with many physicians and researchers. I could see the scope and need of further work to improve patient care through technological advancements. I also have experience in software development, and Quality Assurance in financial, supply-chain, and healthcare sectors.
I am interested to explore the possibilities to bridge between Computer Science, Information Technology, and Medicine.
In the past, I have worked with Electronics and Computer Hardware industries with experience in Circuit Design, Electronics Through-hole and SMT components Quality Assurance for Motherboard manufacturing, different kind of drives ( FDD, HDD, Tape drives), Monitors, Printers, and Modems. A transition to software development allowed me to learn the one more side of computers.
